![]() Has anyone else experienced this and able to offer a fix. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this several times but I keep getting the same message. Automatically install drivers with Driver Fusion 33 available drivers. Update drivers using the largest database. Get the latest official ASMedia USB3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Universal Serial Bus controller drivers for Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, or 7. (the usb ports aren't recognised in windows10 or in the BIOS).ĪSMedia USB Root Hub drivers are installed and up to date.ĪSMedia USB 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller drivers are installed and up to date (disabling this stops the single USB3.1 port from working) The only port that I still have running is the 3.1Gen2 port. I installed Live Update 6 to update drivers and when it rebooted to finalise nearly all of my USB ports stopped working. I've tried updating the drivers through windows, as well as removing the 'USB Root' devices completely and restarting. I got everything up and running and installed just fine, Mflash the Bios to the most up to date 1.3. My USB 3 drivers are gone, ports only provide power, tried installing from the official asus page for my (old) motherboard, and get the message in the title. Yesterday I went out and decided to build my 1st PC. The ASMedia ASM1042 is the Universal Serial Bus 3.0 extended host controller, complies with Intels eXtensible Host Controller Interface (xHCI).
